“The Blue Notebook” - General Leadership Orientation

To Register:

To receive a “Blue Notebook” with two audio sessions, contact your pastor or John Frye at Frye@Crossroads.org or 981-0222.

Course Description:

This is a self-study course which covers all the foundational material you need to understand as a new or potential leader at Crossroads. You will listen to two 60 minute audio sessions while reviewing your “Blue Notebook”. Once you’ve completed these sessions, you will have the opportunity to discuss these materials with your pastor. A pastoral sponsor is required in order to complete this training. Contact John Frye at Frye@Crossroads.org or 981-0222 if you need assistance with this. Sessions include:

Basic Training for Small Group Leaders

Course Description:

Take this self-study course by our Senior Pastor Chuck Milian. You will listen to six 30 minute sessions, complete several worksheets, and submit a final exam to receive this basic leadership certification. Topics covered will answer the following important questions: “What should my small group look like?”, “How will Crossroads train me?”, “What is my role as a small group leader?”, “What tools do I need to serve in this role?”, “How does my group fit into the Crossroads vision?”, and “How will Crossroads support me as I lead”? No cost.

Intermediate Group & Team LEADER Training

Course Description:

Join us as we develop our group and team leadership skills (see next class here)!  This training is based on the book, “Nine Keys of Effective Small Group Leadership” and is for all existing and potential group and team leaders. Topics include church leadership, recruiting, inviting, preparing, meeting, worship, serving, evangelism, and intimacy with God. Cost is $15.

Group & Team COACH Training

Course Description:

Join us as we learn what it takes to effectively coach group and team leaders (see next class here). Topics include building your team, staying on mission, shepherding leaders, conducting leadership huddles, doing one-on-one ministry, and expanding your ministry. Cost $15. Pastoral sponsor required.

Advanced Leadership Training

Course Description:

An array of Advanced Training Curriculum is available for self-study and is offered periodically through conferences and seminars.
